PELT hit the road again for the first of many gigs this year.
The Venue - Ilfracombe College
The Crowd - 100 plus Ilfracombe and North Devon College Students
Supporting Pelt were 2 College bands "Underview" and "Nightwerks". Both bands play frequently at the College and are popular with the Students which was evident by the mosh pit.
Both Supporting bands performances revealed that they were talented acts that we should all watch out for in the future. Particularly impressive was the lead singer of Nightwerks who's voice and Stage presence was "amazing".
Pelt hit the stage at 9pm with the challenge of a young audience who had never seen or heard of the Band.
Kicking off the set list with "I Wish I Was" (appearing on Pelts forthcoming single), Pelt were warmly recieved by the crowd, "Never Let You Fall" and"Toffee Apples" followed and by now Pelt had the crowd captivated.
Pelt displayed energy and enthusiasm throughout "Wait For Me" and "Dont Make Me Cry" with Rob already attracting attention. Pelt then rocked through "Blue Summer Sky" and "Free Me".
The Crowd were moving well during "Favourite Everything". "I Feel Love"was an obvious crowd favourite of the evening. The finale "Come On" displaying Pelt at their best and the crowd showing their appreciation.
Pelt were well congratulated after the gig by the crowd and the support bands. Even later, when Pelt left the Building, they were met with cheers of approval by passing students on their way home.
